An Artificial Intelligence (AI) creates the images, a human writes the texts. Welcome to "Mask of the Shaman", presented to you by Rob Smit (Leiden, The Netherlands)

Giant satellite dishes
They say past, present and future are really one and the same, and that all information is available right here, right now. So they built giant satellite dishes to suck up all information about the future, and analyze it. What will this mean for the present?

Anticipate the Mask
Do you feel lonely, ignored, forgotten? Look for the Mask of the Shaman, who is Bip, who is the bird that is everywhere and nowhere. Once you find the Mask (or the Mask finds you), be ready for your burden to be lifted. Anticipate the Mask. Embrace Bip. Get love.

Men of good fortune
Men of good fortune. They are everywhere. They have the right connections. They wear the right clothes. They know everything about you. You know nothing about them. They are invisible. They decide. They lead. You follow.

The mask of Bip
With the ice on the Earth's poles melting due to climate change, objects that have been hidden for centuries are starting to appear. This particular object caused a lot of sensation. It's the mask of Bip, the shaman who is man and bird at the same time.

Road of the Gongs
Already in ancient times China initialized the Road of the Gongs. Each gong was forged from the purest metal, and set up in a temple protected by warrior-monks. Pilgrims followed the Road, knowing that each Gong would take their spiritual development one level up.

Knight in Shining Armor
The Knight in Shining Armor was created by the Templars in 1168, and has existed ever since. Undying, guarding civilisation, solving global conflicts regular people aren’t even aware of. He has recently been hiding in the Victoria & Albert Museum.

Her arms were growing
When Joan woke up she had a funny feeling in her arms, but she ignored it. Wrong move. Her arms were growing and she didn't notice. When she did notice she panicked, but then it was too late. Her arms had become too heavy to walk. Would they keep growing forever?

A pillow at the side of the road
I found a pillow at the side of the road. It must have been there for quite some time, because it was wet and worn and dirty. It was busy growing arms from its four corners. And those colored circles, are they eyes? It’s all so strange.

An AI in your band
It was becoming cool to have an AI in your band, to help out with songwriting and perform some musical wizardry live on stage. CCCP, a band of former Russian hackers, did just that, and they dominated the global music charts for years!

If dogs could talk
A dog is a man’s best friend; that’s why it would be nice if dogs could talk. So they started breeding dogs with an extra mouth, elegant and feminine. This mouth can learn to speak, and now dogs can convey their deepest feelings in an easy manner.

The bird Bip
The bird Bip has an amazing quality: it can be present in multiple locations at the same time. Fishermen in Acapulco, gabbers in Rotterdam and hackers in Moscow all saw Bip at noon on Sep. 14, 1999, quietly hovering in the air. Let’s all adore Bip!

Fur coats
Fur coats. Nobody wears them any more, the furry ones revolted. Only very old men still wear fur coats. I know one man, born in the 19th century, who actually wears a living fur coat. They say he needs it to keep him alive.

Typewriter
I heard about this old technology called 'typewriter'. Seems you could actually add text to paper without electricity. There's even this rumor that before 'typewriter' there was 'pen', an ancient way of getting text on paper by hand. Load of crap if you ask me.
